Laura and Robert Sams are a sister/brother creative team who own Sisbro Studios, LLC. They produce science-based films, books, music, educational media and live programs that help people discover the natural world (and laugh along the way). They set out to create stories so clever, funny, beautiful and catchy that people can't help but share them again and again. Their work has been honored with over 50 international awards, including a Wildscreen Panda Award (which is often called the "Green Oscars"), a KIDS FIRST! Best of the Year Award, a National Parenting Publications (NAPPA) Gold Award, Parents' Choice GOLD and many more. They have also performed live author/filmmaker visits in venues from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in D.C. to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to international schools in Dubai, UAE.

They recently finished a film about sharks called The Shark Riddle, featuring high definition of over 20 sharks, a Shark Lullaby, the Great White Shark Song and more. The movie won Best Children's Program at the BLUE Ocean Film Festival and the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival. Their children's book A Pirate's Quest won the Midwest Book Award for Best Children's Picture Book. Laura and Robert are currently working on a short film for kids about NOAA's Marine National Monuments of the Pacific Ocean. They are also writing music for Rice University's STEMScopes curriclum, helping students learn about science through songs. Learn more at www.sisbro.com.
