Research/Expendable. You can help support our research by making a donation to the Hyena Research Fund at MSU. Your contributions provide the necessary resources for our students and scientists to continue their work.

This fund is in celebration of Dick’s retirement in 2017, after a 46-year career as a creative researcher and an inspiring teacher. The goal of the Fund is for as many students as possible to have opportunities to learn through direct encounters with the natural world.

Recipients shall be graduate students, or advanced undergraduate students, with exceptional academic records and pursuing a Master's or Doctoral level research program in Ornithology.
