Murphy Lab Volunteers

  • On Campus

Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity in the animal behavior or toxicological field? Do you have at least 10 hours a week of free time?

If so, we are continually looking for volunteers to process fish videos during the 2019/2020 school year, providing you with scientific data collecting experience.  You will gain knowledge about how toxicological fish behavioral assays are conducted and how to collect fish behavior data using video processing tools including computer learning software; no programming experience required.  Opportunities to use the data collected in analyses and undergraduate poster presentations will be available to those students who show particular interest and effort. Weeknight and weekend work may be available to disciplined individuals.
