About

At MSU I was largely influenced by the work of Dr. Susan Hill and Dr. Richard Hill and developed interests in animal biomechanics and environmental physiology. Following my undergraduate work I was accepted as a doctoral student to the department of ecology and evolutionary biology at Brown University, where I study muscle-tendon physiology and vertebrate morphology in the lab of Dr. Tom Roberts. We use frogs and turkeys as our model organisms and are interested in the interaction of skeletal muscle with tendons and connective tissues during locomotion.
