About

I am currently working at the USDA-ARS in Miami Florida in the Entomology research unit. We are a chemical ecology & behavioral biology lab working on developing lures & traps for early detection of invasive insects. My job affords me to work equal parts in the lab, the field & in the office. I have been a coauthor on several publications, have presented numerous posters & have even gotten to give talks at various symposia.

My favorite part of the job is the student outreach that we take part in. Every year I get to mentor between 6 and 12 college & high school students interested in a career in science.
